We decided to head further south down the Gulf Coast to see what we could see. Went to Aransas Pass just across the bay from Corpus Cristi. It was only a 4 hour trip. At this point not sure Texas is for us in the winter. Looks like back to Arizona next winter! Coldest weather in 30 YEARS!!?? It even snowed!! No power for a few days, glad we have a generator. No water for about a week! Luckily I had filled our fresh water tank. AND… and our furnace went out for a couple of days!!?? We woke up to 34 ° inside the RV! Good thing we have a fireplace, it saved us! I spent a good part of the day in 20 ° weather repairing the furnace. Pretty nice park but that does not make up for the weather and the issues that came with that!
