After a week in the Orange Grove we decided to head back to the South. Stopped for about six weeks in a nice RV Park closer to LA located in San Dimas, Southern California, an area rich in history and blessed with warm, gorgeous weather year-round! Southern California is a preferred destination of travelers from all over the world. Located just west of the Pomona Fairplex, we were here during the Winter Nationals and could hear the Top Fuel cars as they went down the track.
This is great! We discovered that the Bonelli RV Park is bordered by the Puddingstone Reservoir! AND… they have paddle boats,! You remember paddle boats, we tried to go out and enjoy a day on a paddle boat at the Tempe Town Lake in Arizona but they were closed when we went to ride them!!
So, we hiked 2.5 miles (on a Wednesday again) down to the paddle boat area at Puddingstone Reservoir. Guess what it means when the paddle boats are anchored out in the lake like this? THEY ARE CLOSED!!! I guess we are just not suppose to ride paddle boats.
